A. SMS Permission (READ_SMS)
We request access to your SMS specifically to identify financial transactions (e.g., bank alerts, credit card spends) to help you automatically generate income and expense records.
Important: We strictly adhere to data minimization. Your raw SMS content is processed locally on your device and is NOT uploaded to our servers. Only the parsed financial data (amount, category, date) is saved to your local database for your viewing.
B. Call Log Permission (READ_CALL_LOG)
This permission is required solely for the Voice OTP Login feature. When you choose to log in via Voice OTP, we access the call log to verify that the incoming call matches the verification number sent by our system.
Important: Your call history is NOT uploaded to our servers. It is used strictly for real-time verification on the device to prevent fraud.
C. Location Permission (ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION)
We request approximate location access to allow you to tag the location of your transactions manually. This helps you remember where a specific expense occurred.
D. Camera Permission
Required to allow you to take photos for your user profile avatar.
E. Installed Application List
We collect the list of installed applications to identify financial apps for better categorization and to assess the device environment for security purposes.
F. Device Information
We collect basic device information such as operating system version, device model, and unique identifiers to ensure app compatibility and troubleshoot issues.
